American College of Physicians
The American College of Physicians has partnered with the P.A.D. Coalition on a new patient teaching tool titled A Guide to P.A.D, which consists of a DVD program and accompanying booklet that helps patients understand peripheral arterial disease and reviews risk factors, symptoms and treatments.
Featured in the DVD is Olympic skater Peggy Fleming, who lost several family members to cardiovascular disease. P.A.D. Coalition leaders Alan Hirsch, MD and Emile Mohler, MD provide expert interviews about living and coping with P.A.D.
